Short answer
Fix the fragrance and the filler first, then choose a bottle and buy the pump made for its exact neck. Test the full pack with your fragrance. Decorate by run size: direct UV printing for samples and short runs, screen printing, hot stamping or labels for long runs. Order the box last, made to a finished bottle with its cap on, and check the label text against the UAE cosmetics rules before you print.
The stages
Fragrance & filling
The oil or finished juice, and who fills and crimps it. We don't list fragrance houses or fillers yet: ask your perfumer who fills for them.
Bottle, pump & cap
Stock bottles from UAE suppliers. Match the pump to the neck finish.
Perfume bottle suppliers ›Decoration
Direct UV for samples and short runs; screen printing or hot stamping at volume; labels when text changes often.
Printing methods ›The box
Rigid for gifting and oud, folding cartons for volume. Made to the finished bottle.
Box makers ›Registration & shipping
Conformity and municipality registration before sale, and dangerous-goods rules for samples.
The rules, in outline ›
Choose the bottle before the artwork
The bottle decides almost everything else: the pump, the cap, the print area and the box size. Start from a stock bottle unless you have the budget and time for your own mould. UAE suppliers such as Nine Stars sell stock bottles with caps and sprayers. Ask each supplier what they hold in stock and what is made to order: we don't assume either.
Then buy a pump for that exact neck finish (for example a 15 mm crimp, often written FEA 15) with the dip tube cut to the bottle's height. Our perfume packaging guide explains neck finishes, pumps and compatibility testing in detail.
Decorate by run size
| Run | Usual method | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to a few hundred | Direct UV printing on the glass | Print here ↗ |
| Thousands, same design | Screen printing or hot stamping, often by the bottle supplier | Screen printing · hot foil |
| Text that changes | Clear or paper labels | Label printers |
Print one sample on the real bottle before you approve a run, whichever method you choose. Clear glass needs white ink under colours, or the artwork reads as a tint.
The box comes last
Send the box maker a finished bottle with its pump and cap fitted, not a drawing. Rigid boxes with inserts suit oud and gift sets; folding cartons are cheaper at volume. Shabouk, Al Zaytoon and Emirates Printing Press all list perfume boxes.
Before you sell
Perfumes fall under the UAE scheme for cosmetics and personal care products, with conformity to the cosmetics safety standard and registration in the emirate of sale (in Dubai, through Montaji). Our perfume guide sets out the rules in outline, with sources. Check the final label text with your filler or a registration consultant before printing boxes. Samples sent by courier are usually dangerous goods because of the alcohol: tell the courier.

Production checklist
- A finished, filled sample of the full pack: bottle, pump, collar, cap.
- A spec sheet: capacity, neck finish, dip tube length, bottle height and diameter.
- Artwork as vector files, with the print area measured on the real bottle.
- First order quantity and the expected reorder, for every supplier.
- Label text checked against UAE requirements, in Arabic and English where needed.
- A launch date, with time for one round of samples at every stage.
Questions to ask suppliers
- Is this bottle in stock in the UAE, or made to order? How long for each?
- Which pumps and caps are made for this neck finish? Can you send a set to test?
- What is the minimum per bottle, per colour and per decoration?
- Who does the decoration: you, or a partner? Can I approve a printed sample first?
- Has the pack been tested with a fragrance like mine (leaks, swelling, colour change)?
